The recent meeting of bodybuilding titans Ronnie Coleman and Arnold Schwarzenegger at the Gold’s Gym was nothing short of mesmerizing. Despite going through multiple surgeries as a result of his intense training, Coleman still manages to work out almost daily and maintain his health as much as possible. While Schwarzenegger won seven Mr. Olympia titles throughout his career, Coleman lifted the Sandow trophy eight times in his career. Coleman’s determination to push his limits despite being in a wheelchair shook Arnold, who could not help but appreciate his work ethic.

Despite the adversities, Coleman’s dedication to his craft never flickered even slightly. His life is a tale of courage and determination. Coleman posted recently on his Instagram a video of him training with Arnold. The duo trained delts and arms together after Ronnie sipped in his pre-workout. The intensity and determination in Coleman’s eyes reminded him of his prime years as a bodybuilder.

While Coleman was performing seated machine lateral raises, Arnold stated, “Look at those deltoids. They are pumping up while you are moving. I can see them getting bigger and bigger and bigger. You must have had some special drink before you did this exercise.” Replying to Schwarzenegger’s compliment, Coleman said, “Yeah, I call it ‘Yeah Buddy.'”

The duo seems to touch hearts every time they meet. After all, they bagged a total of 15 Olympia titles together. A while ago, Ronnie and Arnold met at the Arnold Classic 2023 as well, where they got into a small conversation as revealed by Coleman in a social media post.

Coleman explained in the caption of his post from My 2023 that his path crossed with Arnold Schwarzenegger at the 35th Anniversary of the Arnold Classic bodybuilding show. In the video, Schwarzenegger and Coleman exchanged pleasantries and had a sweet and brief conversation.

Finally, Schwarzenegger said his goodbyes to Coleman to which Ronnie replied by saying, “Always good to see you, Arnold. Have a good one. Will see you later.” Despite being from different years, the duo has a lot of respect for each other. While one of them made the sport what it is today, the other helped it reach a whole other level.
